She's no stranger to rubbing shoulders with A-list celebrities in her job as a long-standing entertainment reporter for Channel Ten.
But Angela Bishop took to Instagram on Friday, documenting a less-than-ideal 'uninvited guest' in her home.
The TV presenter uploaded a picture of a large huntsman spider before and after its capture, captioning it: 'Not so incy wincy spider'.
The image saw the eight-legged creature in two frames, with a before and after of its capture.
The top section of the photo saw the spider on the wall, while the second image saw the creature contained in a glass, with Angela standing behind it.
Angela captioned the collage: 'An uninvited guest. Captured and escorted outside by me using the old glass and magazine trick'.
She added in the hash-tags #huntsman and #notsoincywincyspider.
Angela, daughter of Australian politician Bronwyn Bishop, appeared to be wearing a black singlet top as she sat behind the captured spider.
Some of her 16k Instagram followers took to the comments section, applauding her efforts.
On in particular labelled her a 'brave woman', while others simply wrote 'bravo' and 'well done'.
Other fans however were more concerned for the spider's safety and asked for assurance that the creature's legs were still intact upon release.
Angela put them at ease, replying: 'Legs were all fine. He walked into the glass!'
