But Ed Sheeran showed he still gets nervous when he forgot his own lyrics while performing live on Friday night's Comic Relief.
All eyes were on the 26-year-old crowd pleaser when he missed his lines while he sang his new song What Do I Know?
But the best selling musician didn't let the nerves get the best of him as he laughed off the mistake.
The Shape Of You hitmaker flashed a cheeky smile to the audience and confidently continued singing.
The small stumble showed what a top performer the flame-haired singer is as he picked up the rest of the song flawlessly.
His fans took to Twitter to share their support for the singing sensation who pulled out all the stops for his performance last night and put a smile on everyone's lips.
Some of his admirers declared the slip-up made them fall in love with the talented artists and others confessed it was the 'cutest'.
One fan wrote: 'I think I just fel in love wit @edsheeran a little more after tat.' (sic)
Another user said: 'Ed Sheeran missing his own song lyrics on, laughing and carrying on.'
Another added: 'Ed Sheeran just f***** his lyrics up! Happens to the best of 'em! #ComicRelief.'
But that wasn't the only thing about Ed's performance that got tongues wagging.
He sent social media alight after he shared a passionate kiss with Inbetweeners actor Greg Davies.
The cheeky chap puckered up to the comedic star following the performance of his song What Do I Know?
Moments after his performance came to an end, the flame-haired singer was joined by Miranda Hart, who interrupted her fellow host Rob Beckett to insist Ed had to kiss the tallest host on the show.
She said: 'Ed knows the Comic Relief rules, silly rules we'll stick by them. What it is, it demands that the musical act has to kiss with passion and considerable meaning the tallest host of the night?
'It's my first year so I don't know,' Rob responded. While Miranda insisted: 'Those are the rules'.
At that moment, Greg - who played infamous head teacher Mr Gilbert on the E4 series - rushed the stage and pushed the brunette comedic star aside as he said to Ed: 'I hope you have lip balm on' before they smooched.
Enjoying the moment, both appeared flustered after and left Miranda flabbergasted as Greg turned to kiss her while the crowd cheered.
The two's smooch set Twitter alight with many saying it had made their 2017 already.
'Ed Sheeran and Greg Davies kissing has already made 2017 #comicrelief,' one wrote.
Another shared: 'Ed Sheeran and Greg Davies are the new power couple, I don't make the rules.'
Before another wrote: 'As if I watched Mr Gilbert lips Ed Sheeran and Mirand #RedNoseDay'.
Aside from making jaws-drop, Ed was off to a rough start on the night as he was reduced to tears after meeting Peaches, a young who lost her father to Ebola in Liberia’s capital, Monrovia.
After sharing a number of songs, the 12-year-old girl was left weeping as she sang a song that reminded her of her father.
The moment made a lasting impression on Ed, who emotionally broke down following the exchange as he felt helpless in her grief.
He broke down in tears: 'The last thing I always wanted this trip to be was be a celebrity that comes to Africa and cries on TV.
'I really wanted to come away saying everything is positive and everything is great and then I was just singing with that girl and she was all smiling and then she started crying.
Adding: 'He dad taught her how to sing and she got really choked up about it. I watch Comic Relief every single year and this is always what celebrities do. I think "is it really that bad? And then I sort of turn up and yes it is. That's just one girl out here, that's just one story and she's the one girl that came up to us.'
Later in the show he was subject to a young boy being beaten by an older man, and in an admirable act he paid for the boy and his friends to be housed and schooled.
He explained that as he had ceased filming the segment, a man had started to attack the boy, prompting Ed to return and personally arrange to look after the young child and his five friends.
'It doesn't matter how much it costs,' the generous musician insisted, wanting to make sure the kids were removed from the violent threat of the older boys, who he later reported would be known to rape them too.
