And now it's claimed Kendall Jenner has 'fired her security guard' who was believed to be on post outside her home when the robbery took place.
The model, 21, had called police in the early hours of Thursday morning after she noticed jewellery missing from her bedroom.
While it was first reported Kendall had been alone in her house when the robbery occurred, law enforcement sources later said Kendall was actually having a party with a group of friends on Wednesday night.
They claimed an alarm warning had gone off when someone opened a door during the party, but Kendall thought nothing of it.
The source added that Kendall had left her friends in her home at midnight and returned an hour later to find her jewellery box open and called the police.
According to TMZ, the reality star and her family were left upset as 'someone who had not been an invited guest' gained entry to the house, prompting her decision to let go of her security guard.
Meanwhile, Police are apparently now certain that the robbery was an 'inside job' and are calling it a 'theft' as they believe a guest knew exactly where to find Kendall's jewellery.
The latest reports surrounding the robbery come after the Vogue cover girl was pictured for the first time since it happened.
Kendall was spotted at the Chateau Marmont on Friday - the iconic hotel has long been a place for Hollywood's elite to get away from the glare of the public eye.
It is not known if she has opted to stay at the hotel while police continue to investigate.
But Kendall cut a relaxed figure, while recovering from her recent ordeal, and chose not to attend her brother Rob Kardashian's birthday bash that was taking place across town.
The entire family have amped up on security after Kim Kardashian was victim to a robbery in Paris last year.
The terrifying armed heist left Kim very shaken and she shut down production of her family's reality series Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
She later spoke about the incident on camera in the show's latest series and was seen telling her siblings that they need '24/7 security'.
Kim said: 'We have to have a security guard outside all of our homes 24-7.'
Her mother Kris Jenner agreed and was seen telling Kendall that she wanted to ensure her children were 'protected'.
