'I think I've just lost my job': Hollyoaks star Kieron Richardson runs off This Morning set after he appears to let slip that his character is behind Amy Barnes' murder

Hollyoaks' Kieron Richardson thinks he's just 'lost his job' after he accidentally hinted that his alter ego may be behind Amy Barnes' shocking murder.
The 31-year-old actor - who is known for portraying recovering drug addict Ste Hay in the long-running soap - got himself into a flap during an appearance on This Morning on Wednesday when he appeared to let slip which character left the blonde beauty (Ashley Slanina-Davies) for dead and covered in blood this week.
He said: 'The performances are absolutely brilliant. Ashley who plays Amy Barnes is an absolutely fantastic actress.

'Even in my final scenes when I... no. Is this live? Have you got any jobs here? I might need one.'
Ste and Amy's troubled relationship has been a mainstay of the series for years.
But this week marked the end of an era as Amy was discovered dead with multiple suspects in the frame.
With blood on his hands, the prime suspect for her killing has always been troubled ex-husband Ste - the father of her two children - since Amy has just made the decision to take his children away with her to America. While Kieron's slip could have been part of a plan to deter viewers from guessing the real killer, Holly Willoughby attempted to change the subject to stop him getting himself into any more trouble with Channel 4 bosses.
She asked him about the impending birth of his twins, which were conceived via surrogate, with his husband Carl Hyland.
He explained: 'I'm having two babies via a surrogate... We argue all the time over the names but we're not going to tell anyone ... I can't really concentrate right now because I feel like I've just lost my job. There's loads of suspects. I hate this job.'
However, Kieron has teased that people are automatically thinking that his alter ego battered Amy because he's taking some time out of the soap to be a father and that's not necessarily the case because the storyline was written long before that.ting a car.'
After his epic gaffe, Kieron asked: 'Can I go?' before running off the set.
MailOnline has contacted a spokesperson for Hollyoaks for further comment.
